How does it work?
- Phone us, request a call back or book a free consultation about obtaining a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration
- We diagnose your requirements and discuss what probate service option is right for you
- In the next few hours you’ll receive by email (or post if you prefer) your Probate welcome pack
- We will need some information about the Estate – you can either provide this over the phone or complete a simple questionnaire
- We will need to see copies of certain documents, eg death certificate – you can simply email or post these to us
- Your Probate application and inheritance tax forms will be prepared for signature, usually in the next 2-5 days.
- Your application is submitted to the Probate Court
The Trustd difference:
1. Flexibility
Most Probate providers only offer to administer the whole estate (ie obtain probate, collect in assets, settle liabilities and pay beneficiaries), and some will offer to get you just the Grant of Probate (if there is a will) or Letters of Administration (if there is no will), which is typically the trickiest part of the whole process. Here at Trustd we give you flexible options to deliver exactly what you need.
2. Speed
Most applications are prepared in less than 5 working days. We have worked hard to establish efficient processes to provide our customers with both quality and speed of service.
3. Customer service
You will have a dedicated point of contact who you can call or email 5 days a week. They will, however, keep you updated, so there often isn’t a reason to contact us.

A few more points to note…
We don’t want to inconvenience you – no printing of customer acceptance forms as we use digital signatures; no running around getting passports certified – we use electronic identity checks.
We are, however, not all comfortable with the digital age. If you prefer everything by post, things might take a little longer but our friendly team are more than happy to take a more traditional approach.
4. Price
We try to always be the lowest price on the market. However, more importantly we firmly believe we are by far the best value in the market. Take the transparency, speed, capability, flexibility, not to mention how friendly our team are, we believe it is an offering that is hard to beat.
Our core services are also provided on a fixed fee basis, so you know where you stand before you even commit a penny.
The small print (made larger because like you, we don’t always like surprises)
- Our prices include VAT
- The Probate Court application fee will be due by you to the Court (£273 from 26/01/22). We can help you make this payment.
- Most (about 75%) of Grant of Probate / Letter of Administration applications are completed on the standard forms required by the Probate Court and HMRC. For this service our fee is £449. Under certain scenarios (normally where multiple inheritance tax reliefs are being applied for) the Court / HMRC require more complex application forms to be submitted and where this is the case our fee will reflect the additional work. There is no need to worry though – we will advise you upfront and it will in any case be less than you would pay elsewhere.
- Where one of these more complex applications is needed it may take us a few extra days to prepare the application forms.
- To deliver our refreshingly fast and sensibly priced service we work in a partnership with one of the UKs leading Probate and Estate Administration providers. They will never charge you a penny – our total fees are transparent from day 1, and we at Trustd will always be accountable for the delivery of the work as promised.
- That’s it – transparency is key and we don’t have nasty small print hidden away hoping that you don’t see it.
