The Trustd difference:
1. Flexibility
Most Probate companies only offer to administer the whole estate (ie obtain the grant, collect in assets, settle liabilities and pay beneficiaries), and some will offer to just apply for the Grant of Probate (if there is a will) or apply for Letters of Administration (if there is no will), which is typically the trickiest part of the whole process. Here at Trustd our estate lawyers give you flexible options to deliver exactly what you need.

3. Service
We are a Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulated probate company, which means you have the confidence our work is delivered in accordance with the strictest of regulatory requirements, and always performed by, or overseen by one of our probate solicitors.
You will have a dedicated point of contact who you can call or email 5 days a week. They will, however, keep you updated, so there often isn’t a reason to contact us.

4. Price
We firmly believe we are the best value probate company in the market – SRA regulated, fast, highly experienced, empathetic and friendly.
Our core probate services are also provided on a fixed fee price basis, so you know where you stand before you even commit a penny.
The small print (made larger because like you, we don’t always like surprises)
- The Court application fee will be due by you (£300 from 01/05/24) in addition to our service fee.
- Most (about 75%) of Grant of Probate / Letter of Administration applications are completed on the standard forms required by the Probate Court and HMRC by our probate solicitors. For this service our fee is £499. Under certain scenarios (normally where multiple inheritance tax reliefs are being applied for) the Court / HMRC require more complex application forms to be submitted and where this is the case our fee will reflect the additional work. There is no need to worry though – our probate lawyers will advise you upfront and our prices to apply for the grant of administration will always be fair and transparent.
